this morning i made some eggwhites with a ton of chopped frozen spinach and a slice of lowfat cheddar melted on top. i crumbled some big pieces of turkey bacon on top which, combined with the spinach, helped somewhat with the texture.

i ate kind of late, probably at about 11:30, so i was a little hungry by that point and afterwards i also had a weight watchers string cheese and a couple almonds.
after getting home i watched tv for a bit and then wanted some more food. i put together a platter of cucumbers and celery on which i put a little cream cheese, avocado, and smoked salmon – new thing for me. i also have some tomato slices and a couple almonds. interesting experience.

after hanging out with lawson and eddie most of the day, eddie wanted to go to this little cafe, cafecito on avenue c, for some cappucino. i was pretty hungry and they were getting fried plantains so i got a chicken breast salad which had avocado and red onion over mixed greens. it was really, really good chicken (this isnt it, i wish i had taken a pic tho it was awesome)
I woke up and wanted some eggies but like I said yesterday I have trouble eating them without carbs. I had bought whole hard-boiled eggs at TJs so I sliced up the egg whites of one of them, chopped up some tomato, and a slice of light swiss cheese. I was going to just eat that but it didnt feel whole enough so I sliced up some avocdo too, and ended up just putting it all over greens with pepper. So, basically I had a sally.

I had such a yummy dinner. I took 4oz of ground turkey, shaped it into a patty with feta, and grilled it on the forman. I sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, and squash in a tablespoon of olive oil. So freakin good.

I also had a babybel cheese and a handful of almonds for a snack during the day.
Then, I went over a friends, and when I got home I had another cheese, a few more almonds, and some green pepper strips. Yay no carbs day 1!!!

Happpppyyyy Dietttt Dayyyy!!
For bfast I was on my way to the dr and hadnt food shopped yet so I grabbed a V8 from Lenz’s and then an egg, cheese, and turkey bacon sammy from starbucks and threw our the bread. I dont like eating eggs without bread because of the texture but I’ll have to get used to it.
Then I went food shopping and for lunch I made a sally with mixed greens, fresh mozz cheese, a slice of deli turkey, a whole tomato, red onion, basil, and balsamic vinegar. Mmm. My heartburn is killing me today ps.

Goooood morninggggg. From today, there are 50 days until I go to San Diego to visit the Lizzard. For once, I’d really love to feel amazingly good about myself on vacation (in a bathing suit, in my clothes, in my own skin!) So, this will help chronicle my journey to beeee the best I can be. My roommate and I have been eating vegetarian since Friday but we actually both mistakenly slipped up yesterday, believe it or not. The only thing she had at work was a smart ones and she heated it up before even thinking about the fact that it had chicken, and didn’t want to waste it. I went out, specifically avoided fried food since that’s another rule we’re playing by right now, and agreed to share a couple nachos. They ended up having beef on them, and I had eaten a couple before realizing that I was eating meat – not that I didnt know it was meat, more just that I didnt think about it. Anyways, back to it. Having lunch soon which will be a baked potato, a bunch of steamed veggies, and cottage cheese.
Before I go I’d like to buy a new bathing suit. I think that will be my reward WHEN I hit 115lbs with WW.
Yesterday I made this bean and rice and indian lentil thing… its a package of trader joe’s steam-in-bag brown rice, a trader joe’s “indian fare” lentil dish, black beans, chick peas and a can of crushed tomatoes. diet cityyyy. and save money city.
