bfast: two pieces light wheat toast w/ 1tbsp ff cc, 1/2 slice reduced fat swiss, and 2 sliced turkey bacon

snack: 1tbsp pb and about half a cup of leftover pasta salad inc squash, tomatoes, and eggplant

late lunch: so much chinese food (as a side note, i really dont like going to chinese restaurants because you’re expected to share, and i dont like not being in control of what i eat. case in point:) for apps a pork dumpling, a beef dumping, this crunchy beef shizz, then this chicken and corn soup, then as the meal we got hot and sour chicken and orange beef, with a side of eggplant.  it tasted really good but it was all covered in that brown sauce which is a million calories.

rest of day: NOTHING

Ever since I got sick for 6wks this summer (ugh) peanut butter has been really weird for me… its like soooo overly sweet to me now.  boo.

Snack/Keeping the Hunger at Bay. D.

We have a lunch mtg w/ TMA ppl who are in town today and thats not til about 1:15, 1:30.  While it will be healthy stuff – sandwiches and salad from Bistro downstairs – i know that i have trouble with buffet style meals and can eat way too much, particularly if im hungry.  in the past i’d try to hold on, knowing id have all that food to eat, but that leads to overeating of course.  so, its 12:15 and im having a banana w/ 1tbsp crunchy pb.

I toasted a whole wheat english muffo and melted 1/2 slice reduced fat swiss cheese on one half and like a tbsp ff cottage cheese on the other half.  nuked two slices of turkey bacon and made a cheesey sammy. so good.

Last Night. D.

Ok i had a few more snacks but healthy.  I brought a bag of baby carrots to my friend’s apt w/ me.  i was anticipating munchies and the strategy worked.  i walked to and from my friend’s apt, about 2.5mi round trip.  when i got home i ate a stick of celery w/ 1tbsp crunchy pb and a 1/2c kashi w/ 1/4c milk.  fine w/ all that.

Dinner. D.

I just had such a good dinner, I am so happy right now.  I had a little enchilada leftover from Rosa Mexicana on saturday.  it was lois’s and it was sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes with just a tiny bit of cheese sprinkled on the outside.  i added a half cup of black beans, i chopped up red onion, tomato and scallions, heated it up and put a tablespoon of ff sour cream on top.  i also made a side sally with lettuce, tomato, scallions and red onions and a tbsp of ff ranch.  sooooo healthy and i am so satisfied, which is the goal of my food shopping endeavors w/ lois.  basically what im hoping happens is that i learn that if i just spend a little more up front when i go food shopping, to really stock up on yummy and healthy foods, that it will save me money because i wont feel unsatsified and want to buy food (i know i said all this before, food is just SUCH a struggle for me so its a big deal for me when i feel good about it. the end.)

now i’m going to brush my teeth and try to not eat anything else tonight.  oh i also went to the gym and did interval running for 30 min as well as leg press, leg curls,  and ham curls.

Luncheroo. D.

I heated up the end of the lois stirfry.  The veggies in it were broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, onions, mushrooms, all sauteed in a tiny bit of canola oil and teriyaki, along with grilled chicked over long grain rice.  so yummy. i think i’ll prob make a habit of making it during the weekend to eat during the week. its always something i grativate towards when its in the fridge and its health-o.

Weekend Wrap up. m

So this weekend I headed out to Chip and Nikki’s to Sadie Muggins sit. When we got there I had guacomole, three glasses of wine and a few bites of a burger. I have a bad habit of loving to feed dogs from the table so I ended up giving the dog almost my whole burger. Ha. woops. Then the dog pooped on the carpet.

So we woke up Saturday and were going to take Sadie to Magnolia for some beach loving. She is from Jersey City so has never been to the beach before. She didnt get it and thought we were insane. I laid in the water and floated and was soooooo happy. I love the ocean. Then we split an italian sub on the beach. Then I had a few pieces of crackers and cheese at my Papa’s house, where my cousin lives now.

Then for dinner we got onion and pepper and mushroom pizza. We watched basically the entire season of Californication which is amazing. Not a great eating day but a wonderful day so I dont care.

Then Sunday we woke up and had an english muffin with Nanny’s jam. I had given some to Nikki. Then we drove back to Boston and had open house time. We finally saw the inside of the big yellow colonial in medford. I fell in love. I am in love with it. So i am secreting it for me and paul.yayayayyaya> ok enough.

We then went to soundbytes and had brunch. I had two over easy eggs with wheat toast….and a few bites of paul’s cornbeef hash. Then I redid my resume and had a few pieces of kavli bread with some goat cheese crumbles. I made Diddy a grilled cheese and tomato when he came back from softball… we were gonna share, but he didnt know that and by the time I got back he had eaten it. So i had a pudding.

This morning I had a rice cake with pb and a yogie.
