Goooood morninggggg. From today, there are 50 days until I go to San Diego to visit the Lizzard. For once, I’d really love to feel amazingly good about myself on vacation (in a bathing suit, in my clothes, in my own skin!) So, this will help chronicle my journey to beeee the best I can be. My roommate and I have been eating vegetarian since Friday but we actually both mistakenly slipped up yesterday, believe it or not. The only thing she had at work was a smart ones and she heated it up before even thinking about the fact that it had chicken, and didn’t want to waste it. I went out, specifically avoided fried food since that’s another rule we’re playing by right now, and agreed to share a couple nachos. They ended up having beef on them, and I had eaten a couple before realizing that I was eating meat – not that I didnt know it was meat, more just that I didnt think about it. Anyways, back to it. Having lunch soon which will be a baked potato, a bunch of steamed veggies, and cottage cheese.
Before I go I’d like to buy a new bathing suit. I think that will be my reward WHEN I hit 115lbs with WW.

Hi.
I am sunburned. I ate my first meal at 11:30 today. It was Trader Joe’s White Mac & Cheese with a cup of mixed frozen peas, corn, carrots, and greenbeans. Good stuff.

So I made this dish I’ve been making a lot recently. Bear with me. I microwaved a potato, standard, but topped it with this mixture of shredded carrots, chopped; Fage 2% Yogurt, and curry powder. The yogurt is soooo tangy and it tastes awesome with the curry. I also put this over chicken at night sometimes (did I mention the bag of frozen chicken breasts – 12 or so – from Trader Joes for $6? more on Trader Joes in a minute actually). So, I ate this with steamed broccoli.

So back to Trader Joes… it is so cheap today I got: fresh broccoli, broccoli slaw, fresh cauliflower, sliced mushrooms, 2 avocados, 1 tomato, 1 lime, a garlic clove, jar of salsa, cottage cheese, string cheese, 3 potatoes, a bag of mixed greens, and a can of black beans… all for only $29. It’s such a great place.

I’m going to Trader Joes in a bit but last time I went I got a two pack of frozen Salmon Roulettes stuffed with Spinach Florentine. I thawed it and baked it for 18 min on 350 degrees. I forgot to take a picture but what I found and pasted below I think actually might be it. Really good, I look forward to having the second one.

By the way, this is me…

Hi

Today for lunch I’m having a 3oz baked potato (microwaved at work) with a topping that I put together this morning at home. It’s chopped green pepper, Live Active 2% Cottage Cheese, Bacos, and salsa. (5 pts, 9.5 total). I’m going to the foot doctor soon, wish me luck.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee be back! This morning I was running late for work because I started doing a couple things from my home computer. It did give me time to make some breakfast though, which was great because I have stuff at home and need to save money. I forgot to take a picture, but here’s what I had:
- Egg White Omelet (broccoli, chopped green pepper, salsa, reduced fat shredded cheddar, and hot sauce)
- Two pieces of Trade Joe’s Multigrain Toast
(Total Points: 5.5)

So my roommate Stacie and I are going on a 6-wk buddy system to get fit. We both have warm weather things to do the weekend of 12/12. We’re going to go to the gym at 6am before work (started today!) and going together will really make sure we do it I think. This morning I did the eliptical for 32 min (about 270 cal) and ran fast on the treadmill for about 13 min (170cal, 400 total in 45min). I’m also giving up fries and she’s giving up pizza during this time. Giving up fries really helped last time because I end up ordering something like a salad instead of a sandwich or burger.
For bfast I made eggwhites w/ bacos, feta, salsa, and two pieces of weight watchers wheat toast (stole this pic from last time). This bfast is very tasty, its spicy and smoky. 200 cal.

For lunch at about 1 I got a small salad from Bistro downstairs. You get three toppings for 3.50 its so money for midtown. I got black olives (50 for 10), feta (45), and red onion (10) over spinach (10). For dressing I got low fat ceaser on the side and just dipped my fork in a few times. (No pic, sammit). About 120cals… I saved a bunch of the feta and olives becuase it was a serious overload. But now that I realize how few calories that salad was, combined w/ the fact that its 3:15 and I’m hungy again, I’m going to have about 5 more olives and 1 more serving of feta (about 100 more cal, total about 420 on the day).
